Susan L. Griffin is a Canadian Artist who works from her studio near Moosomin, Saskatchewan, which overlooks the scenic Pipestone Valley.  She has been decorating cakes, constructing gingerbread structures, and making fancy desserts since her first commissioned wedding cake in 1979. She designs Wedding, Anniversary, Birthday and Corporate “cakes” as well as teaching cake-decorating classes.  Currently she is concentrating on work in cold porcelain.  Susan has  training in floral design (from a Dutch Master) and works from actual flowers whenever possible to ensure her designs are botanically authentic and beautiful.  She is excited about her new line of Canadian Prairie Flora’s, which include wild flowers and grasses native to Canada.

Additional mediums that she works with include paper and fibre.  Her business “Piece-full Memories” is a company that specializes in commissions of memorial miniature quilts designed from fabric pieces of your loved ones.  These keepsake quilts function as beautiful display art and comforting memories. Email her at susanlgriffin@sasktel.net for information.
